2004 January and February – ’Envisioning the Future’ – Judy Chicago Project

Trained by Judy Chicago to facilitate eight painters in a project consisting of eight venues and 80 participants.

2004 October – ‘Reading is Magical’

Mural for Victory Elementary School, 16’ x 24’ ethnic-based imagery, funded by Albertson Sav-On.

2004 July – ‘Boots with Attitude’

Two 8’ x 12’ painted mural panels for Workboot Warehouse, North Hollywood, CA. Faηade Improvement Project funded by the LA Community Redevelopment Agency.

2004 March – ‘Window to the Past’

A 14’ x 44’ mural on corrugated metal, depicting a historical view of the rail road for the Chandler Outdoor Gallery, North Hollywood. A Los Angeles Neighborhood Matching Fund grant.

2004 March – Alma Vista Elementary School Nutrition Mural

A 7’ x 12’ mural on stucco. The design was influenced by the 5th grade children’s drawings of nutritious food. Maywood LAUSD Nutrition Grant.

2003 September – ‘Electric Whimsy’

An 8’ x 25’ mural on metal highlighted with neon, a 90’ design element and a 4’ trompe-l’oeil electrical outlet for Parkway Electric, North Hollywood, CA. Faηade Improvement Project funded by the LA Community Redevelopment Agency.

2003 June  –  ‘Tribute to Bob Barker’s 32nd Year on the Price Is Right’

A 12’ x 16’ montage mural on concrete located near the entrance of CBS Studios on Beverly Boulevard, Los Angeles CA. (Private contract.)

2003 April – ‘El Dorado Elementary School Nutrition Mural’

A 12’x 24’ mural on stucco using imagery created by 26 children on the subject of nutrition. Sylmar, CA. Funded through LAUSD.

2003 February – ‘Welcome to NoHo’ Residence Mural

A 12’ by 50’ Gateway mural on concrete block. North Hollywood, CA  Funded by LA Neighborhood Matching Grant.

2002 October – ‘Night Gallery’ – Hollywood Walk of Fame

As Project Coordinator and Lead Artist, with a team of five other artists, completed the painting of celebrity images on 40 security roll-up doors for the Hollywood Beautification Team, Hollywood, CA. Working only at night, the project was completed in two months. Funded by the Community Redevelopment Agency.


2002 June – ‘Village of Hope’

A 17’ x 150’ mural on stucco of a neighbors street scene for the Theatre of Hope, North Hollywood, CA. Funded by LA Neighborhood Matching Grant.

2002 April – ‘Sofahenge’

Recreated ‘Stonehenge’ in an abandoned lot using sofas found on the surrounding streets. North Hollywood, CA.

2002 March – ‘The Fruits of Our Dreams’

A 12’ x 70’ mural on stucco. Funded by LA Neighborhood Matching Fund in conjunction with Pacoima Beautiful, Project Grad, UCLA and San Fernando High School.

2002 February – ‘You Are Here’

A 10’ x 160’ mural on north side of underpass.

2001 February – ‘Journey of Life’

A 10’ x 160’ mural on south side. Located on the Oxnard Underpass at the 170, North Hollywood, CA. Funded by LA Neighborhood Marching Grant.

2001 November – ‘Through the Looking Glass’

An 11’ x 60’ trompe-l’oeil mural on stucco created with the assistance of 150 5th graders. Located on exterior library wall at Monlux Elementary School, North Hollywood, CA. Funded by LA Neighborhood Matching Fund.

2001 September – ‘Arte de Mexico’

A 10’ x 260’ mural on corrugated metal fence along the MTA railroad tracks .

2001 May – ‘The Peach Harvesters’

A 12’ x 60’ mural of historic North Hollywood, along the MTA railroad tracks. Both murals were part of the Chandler Outdoor Gallery, a Targeted Neighborhood Initiative Project.

2001 June 16 & 17 – During the NoHo Theatre & Arts Festival:             

·         Coordinated the painting of ‘A Mural in 2 Days,’ representing the future of the NoHo Arts District utilizing the talents of 16 local artists from 6 local art groups and two high schools.

·         Produced the showing of four artists at The Historic Bank Building Art Gallery.

·         Designed and painted the Kids’ Kourt Theatre Proscenium.

2001 January – Two Angels for the Los Angeles Community of Angels Project:

·         ‘Archetype of the Feminine’ – collage and painting on a six-foot fiberglass angel sponsored by The Wilshire Grand Hotel, LA.

·         ‘He’s No Angel – He’s a King’ – assemblage and painting on a six-foot fiberglass angel sponsored by The Staples Sports Center.

Both angels sold at auction by Sotheby’s at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion on 5/17/01.

2000 June – ‘Copy Master’

A mural at Cahuenga & Selma, Hollywood, CA.

2000 January           Art used in the first Spanish speaking play, ‘Mojares con Ganas’, at the Bitter Truth Playhouse, NoHo Arts District

2000-2001               Art used as  backdrop for two seasons of ‘Noche de Poetas’ at El Portal Theatre, NoHo Arts District

1998                       Created the set for ‘The Awakening’ at Six Figures Theatre Company, New York City. The set design received favorable reviews in the Upper Westside Resident, NYC.  Also in 1998, created the set for Clowning the Bard at NYC’s Fringe Festival.
