Monlux Nutrition Mural - North Hollywood

   

Completed: February 2002

Description: 11' high by 9' wide acrylic on stucco.

Located: next to the cafeteria at Monlux Elementary School, North Hollywood, CA.

Funding: A California LAUSD Nutrition Grant.

Details: The nutritionist at Monlux Elementary School presented Susan Krieg with 5th grade student's drawings that had won a contest at the school and asked if they could be used to create a nutrition mural showing the food groups. The mural was then painted with the assistance from the students.
